Family photos don’t have to mean matching outfits, perfect smiles, and everyone somehow looking at the camera at the exact same time. Honestly, some of the best photos happen in between all of that.
My approach to family photography is relaxed, easy, and focused on capturing your people as they actually are—the laughs, the personalities, the little interactions, and yes, probably a little bit of chaos too. I’ll give you enough direction that nobody has to wonder what to do with their hands, but plenty of room to just be yourselves.
I photograph families in Chico and throughout Northern California, whether we’re wandering around outside somewhere beautiful, hanging out at home, or finding a place that feels like you.
