Hi, I’m Brian

I’m a photographer based in Chico, California. I’ve spent the better part of my career photographing people, products, spaces, and just about everything in between.

I’ve been working professionally in photography and video for more than a decade, and I still genuinely enjoy figuring out how to make a great image. Most of my career has been spent in commercial photography, working with creative teams, brands, businesses, and all kinds of people who may or may not love having a camera pointed at them. Along the way, I’ve photographed everything from products and advertising campaigns to headshots, portraits, weddings, interiors, and lifestyle imagery.

What I care about the most is making the whole process easy. You don’t need to know what to do in front of a camera or come to me with a perfectly formed creative brief. We’ll figure it out together. I’ll give you direction when you need it, keep things moving, and make sure we end up with photographs that feel like you.

When I’m not taking pictures, I’m usually building something, working on a house project, playing music, traveling somewhere, or convincing myself that whatever new DIY project I’ve started will definitely be simpler than the last one. I like good design, good food, interesting places, and working with good people. Photography has taken me all over the world, but Chico is home.
